John and I are not really “cat people” so when we were asked if we wanted a cat during our contract negotiations to buy Bunny Hill Farms, we were confused. First off, I’ve never heard of buying a cat in a real estate transaction (and I hold a license!).  Read between the lines—Boots the Cat is not moving to Idaho. “Is he an inside cat?” I asked.  The immediate response, “Oh no, he’s a barn cat!” But since there’s no barn on the property, we immediately understood—he’s a mousin’ cat that lives in the garage (which is explains the cat door to the garage. A light bulb moment). Our answer: A resounding YES! Boots has proved himself a worthy cat in our short time here. Not only does he deliver a mouse or two, but he catches snakes!
